We welcome astronomy projects of all kinds, including workshops, tours, talks, sky observation activities, classroom projects, lectures, field trips, art projects and more! There are infinite possibilities for activities and projects for the 100 Hours of Astronomy event in January 2019.

Register your event below for inclusion in the 100 Hours of Astronomy events page and the official IAU100 calendar. You can browse our complete list of registered events for the 100 Hours of Astronomy event here.

Please note: The submission must be in the English language. Submissions that are not in the English language will not be published. Events should be organized between 10-13 January 2019, and please note that the 100 Hours coordinators and IAU100 Secretariat may edit some content if needed. All events must respect the general goals of the IAU100 initiative in promoting the key role of astronomy for development, education, outreach and diplomacy.

Once you have registered your event, we welcome you to review our online resources to help promote and organise your event.

SHARE! When spreading the word about your event on social media, be sure to use #100HoursOfAstronomy and #IAU100 so we can help promote your activity too!

SSVI also calls on every association and school that received an SSVI telescope in forty countries worldwide to make the telescopes available to as many as possible throughout the 100 Hours of Astronomy!
