There's No Borders in the Sky (En el cielo no hay fronteras): Tindouf, ALGERIA

Organiser: La furgoneta cósmica

Event Date(s): January 12-13, 2019

About: We will be observing the sky with the refugee community located in Tindouf, aiming to communicate the idea that the universe has no borders, the transition between constellations, or between scales of distance, are not defined, but a human construction. In space, as in Earth, only the weak see the necessity of drawing artificial borders. For that, we will be observing close objects, such as the Moon, or Mars, then move to double stars such as Almach, or further objects like the Orion Nebula.
