About: Mihai Eminescu (1850-1889) is considered to be the Romanian national poet. He loved astronomy and had touched many astronomical topics, including cosmogony, astrometry, the Sun, Moon, stars, meteors, and various atmospheric phenomena in his creations. We will celebrate 100 hours of astronomy remembering his astronomically-influenced poems inspired by the wonders of the night sky.
