Photo Galleries - Algeria: taking aim at the stars from Constantine
The Sirius Astronomy Association, in concert with the Algerian Committee for the Celebration of Astronomy Year 2009, has spearheaded a media campaign aiming at informing the people about the "100 Hours" event through most of the influencial national media both in French and Arabic. It has organized at Constantine a successful popular campaign on Friday 3 April teaching how to observe the night sky both by naked eyes and through optical means.
This gallery documents this 8 hours-long activity.
