Can I join “Around the World in 80 Telescopes” and broadcast the view from my telescope?
Answer
“Around the World in 80 Telescopes” is intended to give viewers a look inside a variety of professional research observatories which have already been chosen to take part in the event.
If you are an amateur astronomer with an observatory, we suggest you open your observatory for the public to visit and view the sky directly through your telescope (either in person, or online). If your telescope is operated remotely you may choose to make it available online for the public during 100 Hours of Astronomy. Whatever you decide be sure to register your events on this site.
