Correct! We decided to round 96 hours to 100 hours in an attempt to make it easier for people to understand and to give a more rounded version of the title (96 Hours of Astronomy to 100 Hours of Astronomy). The idea for this Cornerstone Project began as "24 Hours of Astronomy", with events around the world throughout one day. Because there were so many possibilities for events to be included, it soon became clear that one day was not going to be enough. The event was expanded to four days instead, and given the name "100 Hours of Astronomy".
