Where can I find educational resources relating to 100 Hours of Astronomy?
Answer
There are many educational resources available on our website and elsewhere:
- We have recently published a page of Educational Resources. This page contains a list of websites and other resources of interest to students, teaches, and informal educators, and we hope that they will be useful. To improve this page, we welcome your suggestions for additional resources that we can add-- please email Terry Bridges.
- Have a look at our Resources page, where in addition to the Educational Resources above, you can download posters, skymaps, astronomy fact sheets, how-to guides for star parties, and look at our list of books, movies, and software.
- If you're interested in solar observing, there's no better place to look then the IYA Solar Physics Task Group Resource page, which contains tons of great resources, including educational activities.
- You can contact your country's national IYA committee, who will be able to help you find educational resources in your own country and elsewhere. You can find links to your country's national committee here.
- Finally, please visit our Forum, where you will find discussions relating to education, and other topics related to 100 Hours of Astronomy.
