Register & Report Your 100 Hours of Astronomy Events

Are you planning an event during the 100 Hours of Astronomy? Register it here to include it in our worldwide registry of events. Your event will be included in searches, listings and on the worldwide maps of events so everyone can find you!  You can also make a report of your 100HA event/s and download a participation certificate.

Let Us Know How You Did -  100HA Online Event Report Form & Participation Certificates

Reporting your event is easy using our Online Event Report Form. This form is attached to your registered 100HA event. Once completed, you may download a 100HA Participation Certificate for your group event.

  • Log onto the 100HA site
  • Find your registered event. Your event can be found by searching on your country under Find Events.
  • Click on your event to open it.  Here you will  find a link to the Event Report Form  titled "Report: Add a Report"
  • Open and fill in all the information, make sure you push Submit when done.
  • To save a copy of your report, click on the pdf logo on the right hand side of the screen.
  • Save this to your hard-drive. If you apply for a 100HA award this report must accompany your application.

Editing Your Event Report
It is possible to edit your Online Event Report.

  • Open the event you wish to edit.
  • Under the Event details you will  find "Report: View"
  • Click on this link to open. Here you will find the report you originally entered. An edit icon will be visible next to the name of your event. Click and edit.
  • Remember to click Submit once you have edited your report.
  • Save the report as a new PDF onto your hard-drive.

Register Your Event

To register your event, please make sure you have a100HA user access account and that you are logged in to the website. You can Register Your Event here by adding both the venue and the event. Make sure that your 100 Hours of Astronomy events fall between the official dates of 2 - 5 April, 2009.

Important Notes for Successful Registration:

1. Please ensure your registered events fall within the 100HA dates of 2 - 5 April. If they do not, they will not be shown live on the World Wide Google Map Registry. If you have an event outside of these dates, and it is part of the 100 Hours of Astronomy celebration, please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it stating your reasons.

2. Be sure to follow all the instructions given and complete both the venue details and the event details.

3. Always double check your Google Map 'push pin' placing once your event has been registered. If you find an error, click on the Venue edit icon and activate the push pin. Here you can move around the pin on the Google Map until the venue address is correctly placed. Make sure to click apply and save once completed.
