astronomy and space club sidi bourouis

Astronomy and space club was founded in February 2006 by a group of amateurs in astronomy in Sidi Bouruis, which is a small village in the northern west of Tunisia inhabited by around 4000 inhabitants. Concerning “the Founding Fathers” of this club, one may say that they are the students in the local college who spend long hours lying on the grass, enjoying the stars of the virgin sky, discussing some scientific topics mainly related to astronomy, and raising certain questions in a quest for finding answers. However, the answers were blurred as at that time these young ambitious students had no access to many sources of knowledge especially internet, specialised equipments, and astronomy magazines.
Life went on and these children have become young and successful in their academic carriers. And each time one of them visits the capital, one doesn’t forget to buy some magazines or books that are cheap and usually old ones. Bit by bit,...... the rest in the blog of the club...
