Description
This 100 Hours of Astronomy event is hosted by Mountain Discovery Charter School in Bryson City, N.C.
We will be setting up two telescopes to view the Moon Saturn and the stars of the late winter early spring constellations. Come at 8 p.m. if it is clear.
From the East:
Take Highway 74 to Bryson City Exit 67. At the end of the exit ramp, head right into town. Go to the second stop light and turn left onto Highway 19W. Continue on Highway 19 approximately a half a mile to Ingles Super Market. Directly past Ingle's, turn left onto Hughes Branch Road. Follow Hughes Branch Road for eight tenths of a mile and turn right on the asphalt driveway, marked by the Mountain Discovery Charter School sign. (The driveway looks like a private driveway.) Turn right and follow the drive to the top of the hill.
From the West:
Turn left after you take exit 67. Follow the above directions.
