Description

Come and join the fun and learn about astronomy! The afternoon will include kinesthetic astronomy and a solar system walk, and in the evening you can build your own telescope and watch the classic film "Destination Moon!" And when the Sun goes down, the telescopes come out! Anyone with a telescope or binoculars are encouraged to bring them. Other suggested items to bring: coats, blankets, and outdoor chairs. Refreshments will be provided, but feel free to bring your own snacks and dinnertime picnic.
