Description
The Urania Astronomical Association is a non-profit organization, composed mainly of students, who's aim is to encourage the study of astronomy, popularize astronomy and provide young amateur astronomers with a place to educate themselves on astronomy, work in educational astronomy related projects and socialize with other fellow students. Our headquarters are located in the "Palatul National Al Copiilor" youth institution, with access to an astronomical observatory (a Zeiss Coude 150mm refractor).
The Astronomy 24/7 event will take place from the 2nd to the 5th of April. The Astronomical Observatory at the "Palatul National Al Copiilor" youth institution will be open every night, enabling the public to observe the night sky. Also, on the 4th of April the Observatory will be open for 24 hours. The Urania Astronomical Association also has various telescopes which will be used in the event.
The venue is 20 minutes from the center of the City, easily reachable by car...
