Description
The Star Gazing Evening on Saturday 4 April has been organised by Willoughby City Council with the support of Northern Sydney Astronomical Society as a public Star Party coinciding with the 100 Hours of Astronomy Global Star Party. The evening is an event of the National Trust Heritage Festival, as a part of the theme, "Our Place in Space under the Southern Cross". The event is open to the public, and there will be numerous telescopes available for public viewing, as well as presentations on various astronomical subjects by NSAS and other experts.

Description
Bicentenial Park is a reasonably dark site despite it's location in the northern suburbs of Sydney (pop. over 4 million). Parking is limited, so check with Willoughby Council regarding public or special transport on the evening.
