Join MCCC faculty, students, and fellow community members
For a day of Solar Observation
April 5, 2009
11 am – 3 pm
Located on the quad in front of the Advanced Technology Center
The event is FREE and no reservation is required.
In conjunction with the Delaware Valley Amateur Astronomers (DVAA) and the Bucks Mont Astronomical Association (BMAA), MCCC will be hosting a Community Solar Observation Day. Together, they will provide the solar telescopes which will allow observers to safely view the sun. Please take a few hours of your time to stroll across the quad in front of the Advanced Technology Center (ATC) and experience unique views of the sun while enjoying its majestic light.
We will also be offering tours of the ATC’s observatory and observation deck from 12 – 1 pm during the day. If you are interested in a tour, please come to the MCCC Astronomy table located in front of the ATC fo...
