Description

The University of New South Wale's Astronomy Outreach group will be hosting a public viewing night in conjunction with the Relay For Life Friday 3rd April 7.30pm-Midnight. Come see the wonders of the universe! Telescopes will be situated on the Physics Lawn. Depending on the weather there may be the opportunity to view the heavens through the university's Celestron 14" telescope, located on the roof of the Computer Sciences building. Groups will leave from the Physics Lawn.

Description

UNSW Kensington Campus is located on Anzac Pde next to Randwick Racecourse. The closest entrances to the Physics Lawn [UNSW Kensington Campus Map reference L13] are the Main Gate on Anzac Pde and Gate 14 on Barker Street. The Physics Lawn is located behind the Old Main Building near the Village Green. If coming from the Main Gate follow the main walkway to the first set of stairs and turn right in front of the Newton building, the path will bring you to the Physics Lawn. If entering via Gate 14 the Physics Lawn is located directly in front of you as you enter.
